(Apparently, this is for those who install GPU drivers using windows?). Installed NVIDIA Control Panel from Microsoft Store - didn't help.
Installed all Windows 10 updates (I was far behind) - didn't help.ĭid #2 and #3 again after windows updates - didn't help. Removed nvidia drivers using DDU and installed latest from nvidia site (436.30 Game Ready Driver) using 'clean' option - didn't help. Tried stopping and starting NVIDIA services in services.msc, and tried choosing 'restart' on them (NVIDIA Display Container LS, NVIDIA LocalSystem Container, NVIDIA NetworkService Container) - didn't help. Installed all driver updates through GeForce Experience - didn't help. Same result if clicking normally or with Launch as Admin. Launching from C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\Control Panel Client\nvcplui.exe does nothing, launching this exe from console produces no output. GPU Drivers: 436.30 Game Ready Driver, clean install after DDUĭescription of Problem: NVIDIA Control Panel won't open, doesn't show up in the tray nor desktop context menu, clicking on it in Windows Control Panel does nothing.
